GoPro Hero 10 Black Unboxing (Including Video of Unboxing)
September in recent years has become synonymous with the launch of a new GoPro camera. I managed to get my hands on the latest model so I thought I’d share with you my GoPro Hero 10 Black unboxing.
This latest model has been more highly anticipated than some of the earlier cameras since the GoPro 6. The reason being is the new GP2 processor.
This new processor inside the GoPro Hero 10 offers double the frame rates across all the resolutions up to a new 5.3K resolution compared to the Hero 9 Black.
This means you now have 4K at a super smooth 120 frames per second. So it’s fair to say this is a major upgrade on the last camera hence my excitement to share this unboxing.
New Features Displayed On The Box
The packaging is almost identical to the Hero 9, with the camera, plus the accessories inside a hard shell box with a zipper.
The card wrapper does have different graphics on the outside as you’d expect. Lets have a look at both the sides of the card outer sleeve.
Below you’ll see all the main features of the new camera displayed. Hypersmooth 4.0 & 5.3K resolution at 60 fps the standout features.
Accessories Displayed On The Side
On the opposite side to the features are outline drawings of each of the accessories that come with the basic package.

- USB-A to USB-C charge cable
- Hard shell zip case
Info Card
On opening the shell case you’re greeted with a card that informs you that you’ll have to update the camera before you can use it.
This involves pairing the camera to the GoPro Quik app and following the on screen instructions. This took me under 5 minutes to complete on my iPad Pro.
Whats Inside The Box
I’ve laid out all the contents of the box here including the info card and a quick start guide, plus there’s some stickers too! Who doesn’t love a GoPro sticker on their ski or bike helmet.
