BROWNING Dark Ops HD Max Trail Camera
The Dark Ops continues in the Sub Micro series of cameras from Browning. Micro refers to the small physical size of the camera.
The form factor makes this trail cam ideal for placing on public land with the irregular lines of the flash unit adding to the camera’s ability to blend into the background as well as the “No Glow” LED emitters.
It’s good to see Browning have implemented adjustability to both the flash range and also the detection range. It’s possible to set the No Glow flash in economy mode to 60 ft, right up to 80 feet in the long range setting.
Trigger speed is also adjustable from a super fast 0.13 seconds to 0.7 seconds which gives the camera versatility in placement from food plots to fast running trails. The all important recovery time is at 0.5 seconds which is impressive for a camera in this price bracket.
All the usual settings any Browning trail [1] cam owner is used to seeing are available. Including Multi Shot mode and Time Lapse mode.
Finally, the picture quality both day and night in video mode is what you’d expect from a Browning trail camera to be.

SPYPOINT FORCE-PRO Trail Camera
Specifications of the Force-Pro in regards to image resolution in both video and still picture mode are impressive. The camera boasts still images up to 30 megapixel with video being captured in 4K.
I’m always sceptical when I read megapixel figures advertised by trail cam manufacturers. Having said that, if you take a look at the video and image sample footage from the Force-Pro on YouTube the detail and sharpness is certainly impressive.
Couple the quality images with a strong detection circuit and you have the ingredients of a top trail camera. Trigger speed is an impressive 0.2 seconds with a detection range of 110 feet which is one of the furthest I can think of for any camera currently on the market.
Night illumination is provided by 54 low glow LED emitters. The range of the low glow flash is 90 ft. The camera takes 8 x AA batteries with provision to attach an external power source via the 12 volt DC socket.
Overall, the Spypoint Force-Pro is a great workhorse trail camera for those looking to place any number of cameras for scouting.
The maximum length of video clips are limited to 60 seconds which may be an issue for some setups.

OUDMON 1080P No Glow IR LED Trail Camera
The Oudmon is my budget selection in this trio of no glow cameras. Although a quick glance at the specification shows the camera has the potential to operate with solid results in the field.
You have two options in regards to image sensors with the Oudmon, 16MP and 30MP. I’d suggest opting for the later as the price difference is minimal and the picture quality is notably better.
Night vision is provided by 48 x 940nm no glow LEDs which is a lot of illumination for a budget trail cam. Couple this with a 90 ft detection range this camera will capture and record any movement at night without difficulty.
Picture quality at night is worth noting, as both the 16MP and 30MP camera record relatively sharp pictures of fast moving game animals.
Overall, this no glow camera from Oudmon offers good value for money with plenty of features and performance in the field to ensure your scouting is successful.
The camera comes with a nylo tree strap, a metal swivel mount and USB cable to allow connect to your computer.
Power is provided by 8 x AA batteries and class 10 SD cards up to 256 GB in capacity.
