GardePro E5 Trail Camera Unboxing
Today we’re going to take a look at a Gardepro E5 trail camera unboxing to see exactly what a new owner of this fine trail can expect on receiving their latest trail cam.
For those who aren’t familiar with the Gardepro brand, they produce some of the best low cost trail cameras currently available in 2022.
Let’s now get into it and see what’s in the box.
Table of Contents
The Box
The box itself is fairly low key in khaki color with a slight gloss finish. There’s no fancy full color graphics or pictures on this box.
There’s white text denoting that you’re about to open the box of a Gardepro E5 trail cam. A white outline drawing of the front camera fascia directly underneath the text and that is it.
The box is opened from the top by pulling the tab at the front and drawing back the top of the box to reveal the contents.
Box Contents
The camera itself is sealed inside a plastic bag. The camera lens, IR emitters and PIR sensors all have sticky protective film covering them.
The protective films will need to be removed of course prior to fixing the camera to a tree. I suggest leaving them in place until the camera is fully set up.
As with the understated appearance of the box there is little in the way of accessories to get excited about.
The E5 trail camera comes with a nylon tree trap, a USB charge cable, plus an instruction manual.
It’s worth noting that the tree trap is a good one. It has a clasp style buckle which is always better than the standard belt type.
Accessories
As mentioned above you have a tree strap and USB cable which is great. However you will need several other accessories to get the camera up and running.
To start capturing pictures, you’ll need a set of 8 x AA batteries. I suggest Lithium batteries as they not only last longer but ensure the infrared emitters have enough power at night for full night time illumination.
Along with a set of batteries, an SD card is necessary to store all the video and photos to. The camera will accept an SD card up to 32GB.
Instruction Manual
The instructions are in English only. They are well written providing all the necessary info to get to grips with the E5 trail camera.
At the back of the 22 page manual is the warranty details covering all the cover that is under the agreement.
A website URL is printed on the first page for you to type into a browser if you need further information regarding any technical aspects of the camera.
Final Thoughts
I’ve been looking forward to getting my hands on a Gardepro camera for a while now. The E5 is the first of the series of cameras I’ll be taking a close look at from Gardepro.
