This might be the final option here on my list today, but still a good one. For one, the Venterior VT-FF001 Portable Fish Finder does not need to be installed or mounted. It is a simple handheld model which is small and portable, so quite easy to hold. It comes with the transducer cable and transducer directly attached to it, although the cable is not very long.
The display is very simple; it is a black and white display that shows fish size and bottom contours.
