Best Emergency Survival Kit On The Market: Reviews

Emergency survival kits can save lives in sticky situations. Whether you are forced to leave your home, your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, or you are on a camping trip, an emergency survival kit can come in super handy. You will want to think about the contents of each individual kit.

For instance, some are geared more towards first aid and getting the attention of emergency services, where others might be geared more towards survival in terms of food, fire, and staying warm.

The size and weight are both important factors to consider as well. We’re here to find the best emergency survival kit on the market right now.

As the name implies, this is a 14-in-1 survival kit, and it comes with a whole lot of goodies on the inside. First and foremost, it comes complete with a hard plastic case that seals shut securely, so none of the contents are going to get damaged, wet, or go missing.

When it comes to the contents, you get a emergency survival blanket, plus it comes with a compass, a scraper, a fire starter, and a whistle.

Furthermore, you also get a sharp multi-function tactical knife with a rope and wire cutter, plus a glass breaker. You also get a multi-use pocket card and screwdriver tool, as well as a multi-use flashlight that can be used to send SOS signals.

Also comes with a tactical pen which can break car glass in an emergency. Can be used for self-defense and normal writing.

It might not be the biggest kit on the market, but it does come with all the essentials that are worth the investment. It might just save your life someday.

Outdoor Travel Camping Survival Gear Set, 12 in 1 Survival Kit

Outdoor Travel Camping Survival Gear Set, 12 in 1 Survival Kits Fishing Hunting, Birthday Gifts for Men Dad Him Husband Boyfriend Teen Boy Camping Hiking

The Complete 12 in 1 Emergency Survival Kit is another good option to go with. Just like the one we just looked at, it comes with the contents sealed in a hard plastic carrying case. It is fairly small and lightweight, plus the hard plastic keeps all of the contents dry, secure, and free from damage.

What I really like here is the spork or spoon and fork as it’s more commonly known. This has 8 features alone including a bottle opener, fish spear and knife.

A tactical pen comes as part of this kit, one that not only writes, but can also be used as a glass breaker or for self-defense if things get hairy.

You also get a  flashlight with 3 modes, low, high and strobe. This kit also comes with a sharp knife, one that includes a bottle opener, plus a belt cutter which is a lfe saver if you’re inside a vehicle and need to escape. You also get a compass, so you always know where you are.

To start a fire, you get a magnesium fire starter and scraper tool, plus you also get a credit card multitool, a paracord bracelet multitool, a heavy duty wire saw, and a emergency blanket too.

Emergency Survival Kit - First Aid Kit

Emergency Survival Kit First Aid Kit, 121Pcs Tactical Gear Camping Gear Emergency Supplies with MOLLE Pouch, Stocking Stuffers for Men Camping Hiking Hunting Outdoor Adventure

First and foremost, its a great idea for every vehicle to have somehting like this inside the trunk. This kit comes with pretty much everything you’d need in an emergency, bandages, and adhesives for wounds.

The whole kit comes inside of a fabric carrying pouch, kind of like a mini backpack; it is really lightweight and easy to carry, but unfortunately it is not waterproof.

The contents here are the really important part. For one, here you get a flashlight that can be used for path finding or to send signals if necessary. You also get one of those nifty 11-in-1 multifunction plier tools for all kinds of jobs.

Furthermore, the camping knife can perform many tasks, as can the multifunction 14-in-1 pocket card. There is also a compass, a whistle, and a 5 in 1 paracord bracelet and emergency thermal blankets too.

Survival Kit 34 in 1 – Camping Accessories

This is the final option on our list, but still a great one. As with most of the other options we looked at, you get a small and compact hard plastic case to contain the contents. The case is more than durable enough to keep the contents safe and secure, plus it is totally waterproof, not to mention more than small and light enough to carry around with ease.

In this kit you get a multi-purpose tactical flashlight, one that can be used to send distress signals in case of an emergency. The LEDs have an impressive 50000-hour lifespan and the battery life is up to 6 hours with 3 AAA batteries. Also, durable enough to survive a fall of up to 10 feet.

You also get a thermal emergency blanket to keep you warm. The 550 paracord bracelet with a compass, fire starter, and loud whistle attached to it can come in quite handy as well.

The multifunction pliers can perform quite a wide variety of jobs. It’s a good option for basic camping and hiking trips.

Summary

When it comes down to it, all the emergency survival kits here are pretty decent.

I would choose the Emergency Survival First Aid Kit for carrying in the trunk of my vehicle.  As it is the only option on the list which actually comes with first aid supplies. With that being said, all of the other options we looked at are great for camping trips or to have with you on long hikes.

However, besides that, all of the kits are a great option. They all contain knives, some kind of pliers, paracord, compasses, and fire starters. The differences between the kits are quite minimal.
